Michael

I love this picture by Claude Vanheye. He made this photo back in 1977 when Michael was in Amsterdam. It was published in yesterday's evening newspaper "Het Parool".

Baby's first clothes

Today was a beautiful sunny day, seemed like the best moment to wash some baby clothes. They are all so new and crispy. I used a special detergent without perfume and I imagined that little person that is still inside of me wearing this all.
As you know I'm in a pregnancy class, today was the class whith our partners/ husbands. It was very interesting and still funny. We talked about all stages of birth, I hope that I'll experience that this time and will not have a c-section.

When I came home I found this link in my e-mail from Marianne: Belly shoot
So, so happy she made me those pictures, Isn't Marianne talented?

Photoshoot

The photo shoot at Marianne's house went great. We had so much fun talking, hat we almost forgot to shoot some photo's. I am so glad with them. Oh, I'll miss being pregnant, I will miss having pregnant hair (I don't have to wash it for days! But I'm also looking forward to meet our baby very much.

So, I'm having a break from washing my dishes by hand. A good excuse was that I've still had to blog. The dishwasher will be repaired in two days from now. I'll have so much respect for that machine from now on ;-)..I miss it.

I'm looking forward to do some shopping in Utrecht tomorrow with my friend Christa.

maternity leave

Today is the second day of my maternity leave. Monday was my last day at work, I didn't work hard, there was a lot of chatting. At the end of the day I received a nice basket with a lot of presents from some of my colleagues. Most of the presents were for me, not for the baby! What a surprise.
So, I'm not just waiting, I have a lot of things on my to-do-list.

Today I've went to Amsterdam to visit a nice photography museum FOAM. I was very touched by this series of picturese . It's about a young women, with cancer. She took at last 3 pictures every day to capture the process of her disease.

Looking forward to visit Marianne tomorrow!

happy weekend

picnic, in our garden, coloring a new costume, baby belly in week 31

It was a long, warm and happy weekend, we've enjoyed the summer very much. We've had friends over, went to see other friends, had more friends over and we went for a picnic.
Yesterday I've went to see (with Rinse) the movie Coco avant Chanel, which was quite good.
My feet are getting bigger and bigger. They are swollen because of the pregnancy (my bloodpressure is low, so there is nothing to worrie about), today they became so big that I've had to buy myself these Birkenstocks (and said goodbye elegance...).
