The babybelly in april

Here is a photocollage of my growing belly, that I've made today.
Have a great weekend.

* Today was Queensday in The Netherlands. It begun as a sunny and happy day. But just before noon an automobilist drove in to the crowd that was cheering to and looking at the Royal Family. At least 5 people where killed. Everybody that watched the broadcasted celebration saw what happened. It's something you won't forget soon, so terrible.
So, we didn't had the urge to go out and celebrate anymore, we just went to the city center for a short time.

Busy, busy, busy!

What a day!
Today started with Samuel in a wet bed, I felt so sorry for him. He's acting as a very big boy since he's 5 years old. And wetting his bed, is just not part of his plan. He wants to pick his clothes and doesn't want assistance from me to put his clothes on anymore, he has to brush his teeth by himself (and he does that very precisely). Strange situation: we were half an hour early for school today! I realise now that I was running after him for 30 minutes with his underwear/jeans/t-shirt in my hands on a daily basis. Wow!

My day at work was packed to. I edited some footage for a new project I'm working on. It was very inspiring to work with a very talented engineer on that. In the afternoon I've had a class on developing new television format's (I LOVED that class). After thiss I've rushed, by train, to Amsterdam for a meeting with the trade union.
Back home (it was about 10.40 PM) I've had the privilege to interview Teresa Collins for the Dutch premium scrapbook magazine "Creatief met Foto's".
I'm working in advance because of my maternity leave that starts in June, so you'll have to wait a couple of month's untill this interview is published. It was such an interesting interview. Teresa is a very warm and enthusiastic person. I loved listening and talking to her!

Now I have to unwind a little and although it's already 10 minutes after midnight, I thought I could blog a bit to today.
I still have to share this project that I've started during Jo-Anne's class during Scrap-a-licious but only finished last week:

The translation of the Dutch text is: "We are home". I wanted to express that wherever we are, my family is, that where I feel home.

Easter at Rose Street

Easters was different this year. Yesterday Samuel went tot a musical at the Theatre in Bussum, with Rinse and his neighbour friend. It was from one of his favorite tv-programmes; "Piet Piraat".
I finally had time to reorganise the attic.
This morning Samuel woke up sick and he had to through up a lot. He was so sad. He slept a lot and in the afternoon he began to feel better. At the end I went outside with him and played soccer with him.
Samuel was very, very excited about tomorrow it's his 5th B-day. I'm excited to...can't believe it's 5 years ago all ready. I sometimes still wear the PJ's that I bought at the last moment when I had to go to the hospital...5 years ago.
I have to get some sleep...must wake up early to finish the cake!

Corinne

Today is going to be a very sunny day. At last, it's springtime in Holland! I'll try to stay away as much as I can from the computer. It's hard because I have a lot of work to do.
I'm keeping Samuel home from Judo today, to give him a chance to enjoy the beginning of spring.
Yesterday I received the latest issue of the premium Dutch scrap magazine Creatief met Foto's. It pubbed an interview that I've had with Corinne Delis. Here is a sneak preview. She's such an interesting person. Please let me know what you think of this interview (after reading it of course ;-)

UPDATE: I received an extra copy of this month's issue..and giving it away! Please leave a comment if you would like to have that one! I'll announce a winner next sunday!
Sorry, for European readers only!
