Half Polish

I've started this page after visiting this great and clever challenge blog: http://perspectiveschallenge.blogspot.com/
The challenge was to scrap about your background. After loosing my father last year, this is on my mind (almost) all the time. It was hard for me to choose a story that would fit in to one page. And then I found this slide at my mothers house... Well I've missed the deadline for the challenge, but it did inspire me. And that's more important. I'm thinking of making some more of these "background" pages.
The journaling is about me being half polish, and us going to Poland a lot. I've found this slide and was touched to discover my fathers photography talent. I new about it, but I'm sad that we can't talk about it anymore.
I also describe what I see on the picture and that the women with the little girl my mum is with me as a toddler. It must have been 1974 or '75. I always loved being in Poland, and I've always missed it a lot. (and still do)
