Ketti Phillips uit Seatle is een fotografe die er ook leuk wil uitzien als ze aan het werk is. Net als veel andere vrouwen wil ze niet rondlopen met een tas waar met grote letters op staat dat er dure spullen in zitten. Ze combineerde haar twee passies fotografie en het ontwerpen van tassen. Zo creëerde ze een tas die niet alleen stijlvol is, maar er ook echt voor bedoeld is om een fotocamera, wat toebehoren en alles wat een vrouw verder nodig heeft mee te nemen. Vrouwen willen iets te kiezen hebben niet alleen uit een zwarte nylon cameratas of een zwarte nylon cameratas. Ketti en haar team maken de tassen in kleine oplagen in Seattle

Ketti Phillips is a photographer from Seattle who just wants to look good when she is working. Ketti:" I love bringing my camera with me everywhere I go and my big, bulky Canon-emblazoned bag was always attached to my hip. This girl needed a better looking option. I didn't want to announce "hey, I've got lots of expensive gear in here!" and, oh yeah, I wanted to look good too. My two passions, photography and bag design, combined and I created a fabulous bag that was not only great to carry, but was meant to carry a camera, some gear and everything else a girl needed to bring with her. We ladies need options! Something other than a basic black bag. I offer fun and bold bags that have you not only wanting to take your camera with you to the grocery store, but wanting to change lenses in the pasta aisle" . Ketti and her team make the bags in small quantities in Seattle.

Vandaag heb ik onverwacht vroeg een nieuwe zending binnen gekregen van Kelly Moore. Nog net op tijd voor de kerstdagen.
Nu kan ik ook vast twee kleuren B-Hobo cameratassen toevoegen aan mijn collectie en de prachtige grijze Posey cameraclutches. Die ook al beschikbaar zijn in Fuchsia en Oranje. Een vrouw kan gelukkig nooit te veel tassen hebben! ;-)

Terwijl er, achter de schermen, hard gewerkt wordt aan mijn webwinkel door de mensen van Muccamedia, wil ik je hier alvast vertellen wat ik ga doen.
Ik ben er erg trots op dat ik de tassen van Kelly Moore en Ketti Handbags mag gaan verkopen. Deze twee fotografen vonden het allebei de hoogste tijd dat er meer keuze moest zijn dan alleen die saaie zwarte of grijze cameratas. Daarom hebben deze dames zelf mooiere, maar nog steeds praktische tassen ontworpen.
Binnenkort vertel ik je hier ook wat meer over deze geweldige dames, die nu alle twee naast hun werk als fotografen ook ieder aan het hoofd staan van een erg succesvolle cameratassen-onderneming.

Maar om te beginnen wil ik je laten zien hoe mooi en handig de Kelly Moore classic is. Met deze tas kun je overal gezien worden! Neem je spiegelreflex, een flitser en twee objectieven mee en je blijf toch stijlvol. Er zijn verschillende vakjes waardoor je ook allerlei kabels en accu's mee kunt nemen. Met de uitneembare schotindeling deel je deze cameratas op je eigen manier in. Je kunt 'm natuurlijk ook als gewone tas gebruiken.

I'm very proud to be able to bring the camera bags from Kelly Moore and Ketti Handbags to Europe. These two photographers were both not comfortable wearing the boring black or gray camera bags and changed that situation for themselves and to us by designing the best and most beautiful camera bags. Soon I'll tell you here a little more about these wonderful ladies. They have both a very successful business selling camera bags now; all the two alongside their work as photographers.
To begin, I would like to show you how stylish and functional the Kelly Moore classic handbag/lensbag is.

This bag gives you Moore! You can take a SLR, flash and two lenses with you and still remain a stylish look. There are different compartments for you to take all kinds of cables and batteries with you. The bag comes with 3 padded, removable, adjustable Velcro dividers which allow you to make 4 sections inside.

make-over

I'm having a make-over, neither for me nor for my house but for my blog!
(Although I still have this fantasy about Nate from the Oprah show. And how I will react when he show's up at our door, very silly, why should he travel to The Netherlands..)
