Are you still there?

I am....and I was...but I tried to stay away from the computer as much as I could. Scrolling Internet pages made me vomit, literraly! I've been sick for months, but everything was for a good and happy cause: I'm PREGNANT! We are expecting or second child in July. We all are very happy! Samuel is already chatting to my belly, hoping that the baby will hear him. He's going to be a great big brother!

So we have a lot of things to do in our house, we are decorating and building smarter storage in different rooms. One of the things that I would like to share with you is this art piece. It was used as a template for a window in this building: Beeld en Geluid in Hilversum. This is the (very popular) national broadcasting museum and is located in our city.
Every window of this museum resembles a still from an important tv-programme. Our window template is a still from a Dutch television show with the Supremes!
We've have been lucky to receive this template for free from the designer Jaap Drupsteen (drupsteen.nl)! He has saved many of them of being destroyed.
The template is from MDF and very heavy. We've painted many layers of shiny (greenish-white) paint.
We are proud of the result!

Hope to see you again soon!
