Baby pictures

I'm so luck to have a friend that is such a talented photographer. Marianne Hope visited me the other day and she took some pictures of Teddy and me.
I love them so much, she also captured my happiness so well.
You can find more pictures here.

Hello November!

Hello November! Is it really November already??
Time flies, time flies.
My little girl is 3 month's now, much happened since her arrival, but she still feels like brand new to me. Tomorrow will be her first day in daycare, although I love the people over there (Samuel had a great 4 years with them), my stomach hurts a little bit when I think about leaving her there. I hope she'll be fine. She's such a happy baby. I'm sure she'll be happy seeing some new faces and other baby's. Still...... It's a big step in her young life.
So time flies while having fun. I'm also back at work, maternity-leave ends here when the baby is 10 weeks old and I went back. The first day felt as if I came to work in my pyjama's, but after one week it was business as usual. One of the most difficult things was getting used to pump milk at work. I'm still not completely happy with the quantity of the milk I bring home for my girl. So, when you have tips. Please share.

I'm very into etsy.com, lately (maby because I don't have time for shopping IRL).
This is what I love there.

This nursingcover is great for all my outdoor feeding. You can find it at babydarling.

As you see I'm getting used to the fact that my second child is not a boy but a girl and that I can buy girlie stuff for her...well I'm afraid that one day I'll be completely bankrupt with no clothes for myself to wear, but a with a fashionista daughter on my side though ;-)
Beanie is from zjohnson.

Can't wait till my teapotcover arrives! It's handmade by one of my favorite scrapbookers: Silje

This will have to make chaotic brain organised. It will help me remind when I fed or pumped and from wich side. Made by szetobaby.

feeding Teddy

Breastfeeding Teddy is giving me so much joy, it's like doing yoga a couple of times a day. It's so calming and a great way to loose those extra maternity pounds without dieting (those pounds, all 30 of them, where gone in 3 weeks). Although Teddy is 6 weeks old now, my brainpower didn't return yet! The most irritating thing is that I can't seem to remember from which breast Teddy drunk the last time. Now I've found this great solution for my problem: Booby tags. And it's also a great way to use some of my huge ribbon stash.

I've found this nice link to a story about some celeb's that are breastfeeding to. That makes me feel like I'm doing something hot and trendy. Have to bookmark that page to read again for those rare moments that I do feel like a cow.

Teresa Collins

I forgot to blog about my interview with Teresa Collins. It is in the latest issue of "Creatief met Foto's".
We've talked about her love for photography, scrapbooking, her products and about her family. It was very nice to talk with her! That is what I like the most about my work: listen to people telling their stories. And sharing them with others.

And now something completely different:
We've just ordered this baby. (A new remote control for everything ;-)

on a pink cloud

"Are you on a pink cloud?" -"Yes, I am!"
I don't know if this expression is used in English (My English is so bad, I have to get myself some more lessons). When your very very happy you're wearing pink glasses or living on a pink cloud in Dutch.

And our little world turned pink here on RoseStreet in many ways! I'm kind of absorbed by one thing, this little wonder and her brother (and my DH of course!). I have experienced the most wonderful (almost 4) weeks now, cocooning. We had so many friends and family visiting us and admiring or little baby girl, the flow of people didn't stop yet! (And the flow of pink coloured preesents didn't stop either) This is so much fun!
Most of my time is absorbed by our little Teddy. Feeding, changing diapers, hugging her and singing her to sleep. She is such happy baby! And Samuel is so in love. It's great to see him coming home from school and before saying hi to me, or anything he's looking around the living room to see where his sister is. He is so proud of her.
It feels already like ages ago that we've sent the birth announcement to our family and friends, but I still wanted to share this.

We've found this on cardworksbaby. They have a great collection of cards designed by different artists. I'm very happy with the quality of the paper and print.
Here is one more pictures. Hope the blog more often soon!
Of I go to Etsy to find myself some more burbcloths.

Oh, I don't feel like blogging, but I do would like to share this news with you. Last week I gave birth to our daughter TEDDY! She's born on July the 29th. Everything went well, she's healthy and I feel good to.
