what's in your camera bag?

Talitha Pranger: "A beautiful day with perfect weather, soft back light makes me very happy. A day can't go wrong If there is a beautiful location and when the customers are feeling comfortable and are enjoying the photo shoot ".

Talitha Pranger, is photographing for years. She started her own business last fall. Her specialism is portraits of Babies, Children, Teens and Family. You can recognize her signature on the crispy and light photo's, the extensive use of light in her photographs and the blur in the background. On her beautiful pictures you can see that every person is different and that there is a relaxed atmosphere during the photoshoot. Talitha is also a blogger. On her blog she talks more about her photos. One of her recent posts is about an afternoon shooting in the snowy landscape of Harderwijk. You can almost feel the cold coming from those pictures.

In her bag from Rosabag:

Sometimes I also take photos with my mobile. Because it's fun for my followers on Twitter to see what I do during the day.

What do you use for photo editing? "Eighty percent of my pictures are edited with Lightroom 3. It works very quickly and very nice, I also use Photoshop CS5. Occasionally I watch the webisodes at Kelbytv.com. There you can learn about the latest features of Photoshop Lightroom. It's very informative. You can also learn from other peoples work and then practice until your work looks similar".

Is there a technique that you like to use? "In the beginning I absolutely loved working in a studio. Now I heardly don't shoot in a studio anymore. What I do is occasionally some strobist photography, which is shooting with an external flash on site. I use this a lot when I'm shooting inside. It is compact and easy. It gives the photo that little extra. I use a tripod and external flash and a white umbrella for that".
